The Gellert Family Business Resource Center,a partner of SF SCORE, hosted the award ceremony for the Golden Gate Fortune Cookie Factory as their 2022Awardee in the hospitality category. Kevin Chan and his mother Nancy Chan own and operate this factory that was created in 1962. It was recognized as the "San Francisco Legacy Business" in 2016. They specialize in hand folding techniques producing 10,000 fortune cookies per day. The daily tours at the factory bring Chinatown's exotic ambiance to many people.
