The San Mateo Chamber of Commerce led by its CEO and President Cheryl Angeles opened their Business Assistance Center located at 1730 South Amphlett Blvd, Suite 206 in San Mateo, CA on May 26. The Center is the "central point for information and assistance for small businesses and entrepreneurs in San Mateo and the surrounding areas."

San Mateo Business Assistance Center Ribbon Cutting CeremonySCORE San Francisco Jerry Wroblewski led the Outreach Committee team of Chato Calderon and Sergey Litvinenko to partner with theCenter to provide free and confidential mentoring services, low cost workshops, and roundtable discussions on topics that are critical to making their small business members to succeed and thrive.

San Mateo Mayor Ed Rodriguez,  Cheryl Angeles (Chamber CEO), Laura Bent (Chamber Chairman), staff and other Board Members cut the ribbon at the Center's grand opening. Other non-profit supporting the center are Northern California Small Business Development Center and NOVAworks for advice and workforce services respectively.
